Boneyard Beer was started with one goal in mind, make great beer. With no outside investors or bank loans, owner Tony Lawrence built up a "boneyard" of old equipment collected from 13 different breweries. The second-hand brewing equipment was Frankensteined together to brew the first batch of beer and in May 2010 Boneyard Beer rose from the dead. Inspired by the dark arts, vintage horror-show posters and the brand's unconventional start, I developed an eye-grabbing and entertaining brand identity that embodies Boneyard's attitude – bold, bizarre, and charmingly off-beat.
